Library Legacies
When you make a dedicated contribution to the Library Legacies Program, you can honor a loved one, celebrate an event, or commemorate an achievement. Plus, your generosity enables the Hume-Kauffman Transplantation Library and Archives to add more books, journals, and audio-visual materials. It also helps expand the services the library provides electronically in its continuing effort to advance organ availability and transplantation through education and research.
When you honor someone special or highlight a memorable event or achievement by contributing to the Library Legacies Program, we will send an acknowledgment of your gift to the honoree or the honoree's family, or to whomever you designate, as well as to you directly. View the contribution form

At your request, books and videocassettes purchased through the Library Legacies Program will feature a bookplate with the name of the honoree or description of the special occasion and the reason for the contribution.
If you prefer to support the subscription to a journal, the bookplate can be inserted in a transparent cover that holds the first issue of the subscription.
The Hume-Kauffman Transplantation Library and Archives librarian maintains a wish list of the most-needed materials for the library. You can designate that your gift go towards the purchase of a specific book, video, or journal title on the list, or indicate a service you would like to support. Or, you may choose to make a general contribution, and the librarian will determine how to make the best use of your gift.
To make a contribution to the Library Legacies Program, please complete and enclose the following contribution form with your gift. Include your name and address, the name of the honoree or description of the special event or achievement, and the name and address to whom an acknowledgment should be sent. Gifts may also be made anonymously.
