Director of Instructional Innovations
Angela Allen joined UNOS in 2012 to oversee UNOS' new focus on member education. Allen is responsible for the organization's newly restructured department of instructional innovations (formerly department of professional services).
Before joining UNOS Allen was a public school administrator for Henrico County. She had previously worked in the same role in Hanover County. As a school administrator, she designed, managed and facilitated cultural change programs and led an organizational transition helping the organization become more results-oriented.
Allen holds a doctorate of education from The College of William and Mary, a master's of teaching from The University of Richmond and a bachelor's of science in psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University.
