Director of Development
Cassandra Cossitt was promoted to Director of Development in 2011. She is responsible for securing charitable support, educational grants and sponsorships to support the UNOS mission beyond its role as the OPTN.
Cossitt became Assistant Director of Development in 1999 to focus on the campaign for construction of the UNOS headquarters building and National Donor Memorial. Other activities include obtaining support for Transplant Living and other patient information resources, professional education programs and resources, organ donation awareness activities, technology equipment and software, and general operating support.
Prior to joining UNOS in 1997, Cossitt had been a freelance writer, and included UNOS among her clients.
