Director of Communications
Elisabeth Gabrynowicz was named Director of Communications in 2002. She is responsible for the communications functions of the organization, including: media relations and issues management; communications to UNOS' membership; development of materials to support UNOS' professional services; patient education materials; graphics design; Web site design and editorial support; and social media activities.
Gabrynowicz has a broad background in communications, bringing to the position 20 years of progressively responsible experience in management, public relations, and marketing communications with major national and international companies. In addition, she has extensive experience as a public relations officer for the U.S. Army Reserve, where she achieved the rank of lieutenant colonel.
Gabrynowicz received her bachelor's degree in journalism at C.W. Post and her M.B.A. at The College of William & Mary. She is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators and Public Relations Society of America.
