UNOS Breaks Ground for New Headquarters
Richmond, Va. -- UNOS and representatives from its A Mission for Life development campaign broke ground Sept. 21 for UNOS' new headquarters to be built in the Virginia Bio-Technology Park in downtown Richmond. The 80,000-square-foot building, which will also include space for an additional tenant selected by the Bio-Technology Park, is expected to be ready for occupancy by December 2002.
At the groundbreaking, UNOS Executive Director Walter Graham thanked and honored contributors from the Richmond community for helping the campaign exceed its local goal of raising $2.4 million. National contributions bring the current grand total of pledges and contributions to the A Mission for Life campaign to more than $5.1 million of its $6.6 million dollar goal.
