Enter the Transplant Living Story of Hope Contest! To help celebrate National Donate Life Month, Transplant Living will feature stories of hope about living donation. Stories will be used to encourage donation and give hope to the many patients now waiting for a transplant. These stories can be:
- From a living donor who has given life.
- From a recipient about his/her living donor.
- From a friend or family member of a living donor.
Here's how to participate:
- Review the contest rules and eligibility requirements.
- Complete the entry form by April 30, 2013.
- Feel free to create a short video to include with your story. Videos are not required, but can definitely help tell your story.
- If your story meets the contest rules and eligibility requirements, you will be sent an e-mail when your story is included on the Transplant Living Web site.
- You can then share it with your friends and social networks to tell your story, encourage votes and spread the word about organ donation. During the voting period, entries will be displayed on the Transplant Living Web site, and visitors to the site will be invited to vote for their favorite entry. One vote per computer per day.
- Three winners will be determined by highest number of votes received and announced on May 1, 2013.
Prizes include:
- 1st: New iPad
- 2nd: $50 Visa gift card
- 3rd: $25 Visa gift card
