The Abdominal Transplant Program at Tampa General Hospital (TGH) is seeking an additional Transplant Hepatologist to support its expanding liver disease management and transplant program that performs an average of 100 liver transplants a year, with plans for growth. Currently our program has three dedicated, full time Hepatologists.
This position involves the full scope of clinical hepatology including management of viral hepatitis, end-stage liver disease, liver cancer and liver transplant related patient care. Candidates must be board eligible or certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
For more than two decades, TGH has been a leader in organ transplantation. TGH is the only hospital in West Central Florida performing adult heart, lung, kidney, pancreas and liver transplantation. We partner with the University of South Florida.
