Program Director, Renal Transplantation
The Department of Surgery at Einstein Healthcare Network is seeking a full time Program Director for the Renal Transplant Program. The candidate will be able to perform clinical activities relative to adult kidney, liver and pancreas transplant surgery including laparoscopic living donor nephrectomy, hepatobiliary surgery and laparoscopic surgery in transplant candidates. Responsibilities include pre-transplant patient management and assessment for transplant, post-transplant care and immunosuppression management, oversee and manage a living donor kidney program, as well as monitoring and guiding the quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. Familiarity with UNOS and CMS transplant regulations is required. In addition to clinical responsibilities the individual will play a key role in strategic planning for the continued growth of the program and engagement in research activities.
