Lynt Johnson

Lynt B. Johnson, M.D., is director of hepatobiliary surgery at the Lombardi Cancer Center, chief of the division of transplant surgery and vice chair of the department of surgery at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Johnson has served as a member of the OPTN/UNOS board of directors and currently is a member of his region's liver review board. He currently serves on the ad hoc living donor committee and has previously served on the scientific advisory and membership and professional standards committees.

In addition to his OPTN/UNOS service, Dr. Johnson has been a member of the medical advisory board of the American Liver Foundation and served on the board of directors for the National Kidney Foundation national capital area and the American Red Cross as well as on the board of trustees for the Transplant Resource Center of Maryland. He also has been a councillor for the American College of Surgeons Washington chapter.

Dr. Johnson earned a medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston.
