Jeffrey S. Crippin, M.D. (AST), is medical director of liver transplantation and professor of medicine at Washington University School of Medicine and Barnes-Jewish Hospital, both in St. Louis.
Dr. Crippin was a member of the OPTN/UNOS ad hoc committee on public solicitation of organs. He also has served on the review board (liver) for his region.
He is immediate past president of the American Society of Transplantation (AST) and is a member of its public policy committee, having served as chair. He also has been AST’s secretary-treasurer.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas in Kansas City.
