Donna Banks is features editor at Reader's Digest magazine in Pleasantville, N.Y. She is a donor wife.
She has served on the OPTN/UNOS communications committee.
Banks currently is on the board of directors of the Eye-Bank for Sight Restoration and previously was on the board of the Coalition on Donation (now, Donate Life America). She has served on the public education committee of the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) and on the NKF's National Donor Family Council.
She earned a bachelor of science degree in sociology and elementary education from Goucher College in Towson, Md.
