United Network for Organ Sharing: Organ Donation and Transplantation

Finance Committee

Chaired by the treasurer, the UNOS Finance Committee is primarily responsible for the organization's financial operations, including reviewing and approving operating and capital budgets, recommending registration fee increases, and monitoring UNOS' financial position. The committee meets yearly to approve the budget for the next fiscal year and to approve the audited financial statements for the prior year. For issues that arise between scheduled meetings, the committee meets by conference call. The committee acts to establish cash and operating reserves and approve employee benefits.
