Director, Policy, Membership and Regional Administration

Karl J. McCleary, Ph.D., M.P.H., joined UNOS in 2007. McCleary previously worked for Pennsylvania State University, where he had been an assistant professor in the department of health policy and administration. His reponsibilities included directing research in organ donation.

Dr. McCleary earned a doctoral degree in administration-health services from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a master's degreee in health policy and management from Emory University in Atlanta.
