Director, Professional Services

Lin McGaw was named UNOS' Director of Professional Services in 1996. She is responsible for providing managerial leadership and direction for all UNOS activities designed to increase organ donation through professional and patient education initiatives; overseeing and developing the budget for the staff of professional services coordinators and administrative assistants; supervising revenue and distribution of all UNOS resources; supporting four UNOS committees; and ensuring that OPTN tasks related to professional and patient education are satisfactorily completed.

Before becoming Director, Ms. McGaw was UNOS' Assistant Director of Professional Education from 1994 to 1996, Manager of the Education Department from 1990 to 1994, and a Professional Education Coordinator from 1988 to 1990.

Ms. McGaw earned an R.N. and a B.S. in Public School Nursing from Millersville University, and a Masters of Education from Temple University.
