Transplant Nephrologist Opportunity
UT Medical Physicians, Inc. (UTMP) is seeking applicants for a tenure track faculty position as a Transplant Nephrologist. This position would join The Department of Medicine, Division of Transplant/ Nephrology, at the University of Tennessee. This position will have important participation in the educational activities of the Division as well as in patient care (clinical Nephrology, treatment of patients, and transplant patients).
Affiliated with Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare, the UT Medical Physicians (UTMP) is the private practice arm of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) faculty. UT Medical Physicians, Inc. is a not-for-profit, non-tax supported multi-specialty physician practice with over 300 doctors who are also on the faculty of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine.
Nationally recognized for its success with kidney, liver, kidney-pancreas and pancreas transplants, Methodist University Hospital Transplant Institute has been a leader in the field for more than 30 years. The program offers hope to patients with conditions such as kidney failure, end-stage liver diseases such as cirrhosis, Hepatitis C and diabetes. Partnering with the University of Tennessee, the program is dedicated to improving the quality of life and the life expectancy for its transplant patients through research breakthroughs, excellence in surgical techniques and meticulous post-operative care.
*Must be Board Certified/Eligible and have Transplant Fellowship Training
