Mission Hospital is seeking a Nurse Practitioner with at least three years of experience in heart failure, MCS/VAD, ECMO, and/or cardiovascular critical care as a practitioner or RN.
Primarily inpatient rounding on the service with HF cardiology.
See patients in the outpatient HF clinic.
Participation in care of VAD patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Participation in selection meetings.
Opportunity to engage and lead in critical care management of HF patients.
About Our Programs
Mission’s Heart Failure Program is a comprehensive system of care for the HF patient ranging from outpatient disease management to advanced cardiac therapies, including the implantation of left ventricular assist devices (LVAD). We have assembled a multi-disciplinary team of HF cardiologists, CV surgeons, VAD coordinators, HF nurse practitioners and pharmacists to support this effort and the HF patients of Western North Carolina.
